Injustice: Gods Among Us Review | DarkStation

Added: 26.05.2013 22:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

DarkStation: "I had fun playing Injustice, but not as much as I wanted too. The combos and hits have a cadence and feeling to them that Ive only found in NetherRealm games. Its a sort of slower, rhythmic feeling and its not too difficult to pull off useful and reasonably powerful combos. When youre executing a combo and trading blows with an opponent the game is as good as any other. The problem comes in with the games movement, which feels much stiffer than other fighting games. This is especially true of the jumps which, while fairly fast seems less organic and smooth then something in other 2D fighting games. There are a ton of projectile characters as well, and without a universal air dash its easy to become frustrated against those who simply spam those abilities. The fighting system isnt bad, it seems perfectly balanced, I just didnt particular care for the way the game moved. If the movement had been more fluid, I think I would have really liked this game a lot."

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review | Ready-Up

Added: 26.05.2013 8:18 | 1 views | 0 comments

Ready-Up writes: 'When Injustice: Gods Among Us was announced something didnt sit quite right with me. Releasing a DC Comics game without putting DC in the title? Could DC have been distancing themselves from the project? Perhaps they wanted to keep it distinct from NetherRealms previous DC fighting game. Regardless, and despite my initial feelings of trepidation, I found myself pleasantly surprised by Injustice.'
